  5. FastNet is a freeware Internet utility, designed for Windows 95/98/NT.
  6. Using Fastnet you will speed up your web browser every time you want to connect on Internet, by speeding up DNS lookups. If you have a Windows 95/98/NT based system that runs a TCP/IP stack to communicate, you can enjoy Fastnet.

  37. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

  39. - you need to have Windows 95/98/NT installed on your computer
  40. - no special hardware is required
  41. - you need to have a TCP/IP network

  43. HOW TO INSTALL FASTNET:

  45. - unzip the archive FastNet.zip in a temporary directory
  46. - click on the Start button on the Taskbar
  47. - click on the Start menu's "Run" selection
  48. - enter the path to the unzipped files directory
  49. - type "setup.exe" and click on the "OK" button 
  50. - follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation

  52. HOW TO UNINSTALL FASTNET:

  54. - open the control panel
  55. - double click on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon
  56. - you will see a list of installed software, select FastNet on the list
  57. - click on the "Add/Remove" button
  58. - follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation
