Neat Stuff
~~~~~~~~~~
o You can drag-drop HTML files to URLPro, and it'll parse them immediately.
o In the Parse dialog, click [Options]. You can set URLPro to ignore mailto: links, ?links, and #links.
o Right-click the link list for a short-cut menu
o Choose List | Select Special... for a really neat trick: you can select all files with a specified extension, or all URLs with certain text in them.
o You can save out an HTML file with all the links in
o You can save a URLPro LinksList, which contains all the links, plus the Base URL, so you can add them to NV later.
o To quickly open a LinksList (.nva) file, drag-drop it onto URLPro.
o If you spot a sequence of files you want, e.g. file1.zip, file2.zip, file3.zip... try out the following:
How to add a sequence of files
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Click File | Add Sequence...
2. Enter a URL to a file (try Right-clicking the link in your browser and doing Copy Shortcut [IE], then pasting it into the URL box).
3. Replace the number with a symbol (default is the | character to the left of Z on my keyboard).
4. Choose this character in the list
5. Select the number from which the sequence should start, and where it should stop.
6. If you want leading zeros, check the box and edit the number.
7. Hit [Add]. URLPro will ask you to wait while it creates the list, and then add the links to NV.
When adding links
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
URLPro shows you a list of URLs with a status. The status will be one of the following:
Waiting The URL is yet to be added to NV
Adding URLPro is adding this link to NV as you read
Added The URL was successfully added to NV
Failed - File in use The URL was not added because the filename is in use locally
Failed - Bad URL The URL was not added due to being dodgy
Failed - NV not responding NetVampire was not responding. It probably has a dialog open.
Failed - Could not find NV You sure you installed it? :)
