PL: rewards in the newspaper. The bulldog returns the cat to his masters,

PL: where "acres and acres" of meat hang from the ceiling. It isn't long
PL: before the greedy bulldog must pay for his gluttony his grossly bloated
PL: carcass lies strapped to an operating table at a veterinarian's
PL: hospital, with the doctors planning to pump the mutt's stomach. Just
PL: then, the cat and mouse arrive to get their very just revenge.

PL: "dago mules", Emilio and Demetrius are determined not to let these
PL: three "interstate vixens" keep their frozen asset.     The vixens,
PL: meanwhile, must deal with Elroy, Scoop and Larry Hugh, three
PL: self-styled playboys from Fern Creek, Kentucky on a nationwide
PL: pilgrimage to ingest as many willing females as can gratify their
PL: T-bone appetites. Taking a cue from one of the men's periodicals they
PL: follow religiously, the boys disguise as highway patrolmen to up their
PL: fortunes with the "weaker" sex.  When they pull over the vixens for
PL: speeding and offer to fix their ticket in exchange for some lovin' in
PL: the woods, little do these cracker Casanovas know what painful activity
PL: awaits them. In time, the rube rogues chance upon the greasy stallions
PL: and join forces with them in getting back at these "harlots" and
PL: getting the liver.

PL: territory. He is taken in by a Baroness (Gabor). She is taken with him
PL: and doesn't want him to leave, so she doesn't tell him that the war has
PL: ended. So, for nearly five years he thinks that the war is still going
PL: on, and so when he leaves her estate he thinks that he has to do what
PL: he can to defeat the Germans, cause he can't find anyone who speaks
PL: English or is willing to tell him that the war is over.

PL: Porky hosts a radio program, where animals tell their stories.  The guest
PL: star is Kansas City Kitty, the best mouser in the country.  She tells
PL: the story of her life, including her marriage to Tom Collins, the birth
PL: of Little Patrick (not necessarily in that order), and the turning
PL: point of her life.  The mice have plotted out a major operation like
PL: gangsters.  They sneak out and kidnap Patrick and hold him hostage. The
PL: mice soon have the run of the place, raiding the fridge, and generally
PL: harassing Kitty, who is distraught.  But Patrick escapes, and Kitty
PL: gets her revenge.  For her story, Porky gives her a present: a wimpy
PL: little mouse that scares her.

PL: The filmmakers were together for eighteen years without marrying. At age
PL: thirty-five, they began to consider starting a family. Despite external
PL: pressure to wed and amutual commitment, they felt ambivalent about
PL: marriage. Were they alone in this? What social and political forces
PL: might contribute to this doubt? The 90 minute, black and white,
PL: documentary feature film, "Wedding Advice: Speak Now or Forever Hold
PL: Your Peace" explores these questions through interviews with family,
PL: friends, and "expert" writers, professors, sociologists, and political
PL: commentators. The interviewees hold varying perspectives on and have
PL: different relationships to the institution of marriage. Re-framing the
PL: traditional question "is there any reason why this couple should not
PL: wed?" the film asks our chosen community of interviewees: "is there any
PL: reason why the filmmakers should wed?" As others convey the story in
PL: their allusions to the filmmakers and through their own anecdotes, the
PL: documentary illuminates the conflicting desire for and fear of
PL: traditions associated with marriage. Sections of the film play off of
PL: traditional marriage "scripts" from the proposal onward, culminating in
PL: others' "wedding advice" to the filmmakers. Visuals include the wedding
PL: photography of Kate Philbrick; ironically placed footage from turn of
PL: the century films (such as The Bride, 1918 and The Wedding, 1905); and
PL: footage from award winning documentarian Jaime Kibben's 1999 home video
PL: "The Brides Wore White".

PL: him hand and foot. Hawks goes to San Francisco for a planter's
PL: convention and, when he returns, brings back society girl Lucille
PL: Cheney (Virginia Cherrill) as his wife. Leilana is heart-broken, while
PL: Lucille becomes quickly bored with her husband and Hawaii. Her boredom
PL: ends when Chandler Morris (Hardie Albright) sails into port on his
PL: yacht and he and Lucille begin an affair. Hawks drinks to forget. He
PL: catches Lucille and Chandler together and a fight ensues, Lucille, in
PL: an effort, to save her lover throws a kerosene lamp into the ripe sugar
PL: cane and fire spreads in all directions.
