  7. Microsoft LAN Manager Versions 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2
  8. ------------------------------------------------
  9. The EtherDisk #2 diskette contains a subdirectory structure and files that
  10. make it an OEM import disk for the LAN Manager installer.  Use the import
  11. function of the LAN Manager installer to capture the NDIS driver from the
  12. EtherDisk diskette.  Be sure to save the new configuration before exiting
  13. the installer.

  16. DOS Installation with LAN Manager 2.2
  17. -------------------------------------
  18. The following describes the procedure for importing the driver during
  19. installation of LAN Manager 2.2 for DOS.
  20.  
  21. 1.  Begin the MS-DOS LAN Manager installation by inserting the MS-DOS
  22.     Setup diskette and typing:
  23.  
  24.     A:SETUP
  25.  
  26. 2.  After reading the Microsoft Drivers 1 diskette, a window is displayed
  27.     showing available network NIC drivers.  In this window choose the
  28.     following function:

  30.     Select Other Driver         (Alt-D)
  31.  
  32. 3.  When prompted to insert your network driver diskette, insert the
  33.     EtherDisk #2 diskette.
  34.  
  35. 4.  After the driver is imported from the EtherDisk diskette, a box will
  36.     be displayed showing the driver.  Select the EtherLink 10 ISA Family
  37.     driver.
  38.  
  39. 5.  Continue with the remainder of the installation by next selecting a
  40.     protocol to use with the EtherLink 10 ISA Family driver.
