  3.    Introduction:
  4.    -------------
  5.    This document describes the procedure to install  Microsoft Windows
  6.    for Workgroups v3.11 driver for PCI Ethernet adapter.
  7.  
  8.    LOCATION OF DRIVER:     \WFW311\PCIND.386
  9.  
  10.  
  11.    Setup Procedure:
  12.    ----------------
  13.       After you run into Windows for Workgroup 3.11:
  14.  
  15.       1. Select the "Network Setup" icon in the Network Group.
  16.  
  17.       2. Click on the "Drivers..." button.
  18.  
  19.       3. If you are replacing a previous LAN adapter, select the Remove
  20.          button to delete that adapter
  21.  
  22.       4. Click on the "Add Adapter" button.
  23.  
  24.       5. Choose Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter.
  25.  
  26.       6. Insert the adapter driver disk in drive "A" and specify the path
  27.          A:\WFW311 for the location of the driver.
  28.  
  29.       7. Close, and when prompted, restart your computer so that changes
  30.          take affect.

  33.    NOTES:
  34.    ------
  35.       1. Parameters for the PROTOCOL.INI file:
  36.  
  37.          AdapterID : This keyword is provided  by RTL8029, and is required
  38.                      when more than one PCI Ethernet Adapters exist on one
  39.                      system.

  41.       2. Installing Multiple LAN Adapters:
  42.          There are two different method to complete it:
  43.          (a) Under  DOS  mode, you can modify the AdapterID in file
  44.              C:\WFW311\PROTOCOL.INI by yourself.
  45.          (b) Or you can enter Windows for WorkGroup and follow  above
  46.              setup procedure step 2,then click on "Setup.." button, select
  47.              "Advanced...",fill AdapterID in Value item. Make changes and
  48.              select OK then close NETWORK SETUP.
