  1.     Unless there is a major patch or update, this is the first and last
  2. time I will use MovieSetter. It crashes on average of about once every five
  3. minutes, and is unusable for large or even medium scale projects. The few
  4. workarounds I can share are these: 
  5.  
  6.     - When your having problems editing an old movie, make sure the real
  7.     beginning frame number and ending frame number of all tracks matches
  8.     the frame numbers indicated by "Goto Beginning/End" gadgets in the
  9.     "Track Edit" window for a selected track. If they are different, 
  10.     cut and paste the track right back where it was and they'll now be
  11.     the same.
  12.  
  13.         - Never "Add Start" of a big movie; just start a new one and
  14.     insert the big on the tail ( though this sometimes fails too...)
  15.  
  16.     - Know when and where you want things to be ahead of time, as
  17.     using the "Storyboard" can be fatal to a big movie.
  18.  
  19.     - SAVE OFF CONSTANTLY!
