  11.     The animation in this archive was rendered in Imagine, and processed
  12. in OpalPaint v2.1 using THE VIDEO PANEL MACHINE.
  13.  
  14.     The Video Panel Machine takes your images and animations [series of
  15. images] and adds "panels" to them.  The panels give a zoomed in or zoomed
  16. out representation on the image information behind it.  This effect is
  17. frequently used lately in commercials and music videos.  As you can see by
  18. the animation, it's a very nifty effect when the subject is moving.

  22. * Rectangular panels that 'zoom' the image information behind it
  23.  
  24. * Spheres that 'refract' the image information behind it
  25.  
  26. * Custom shapes [defined by 2-colour or OpalPaint brushes] such as logos
  27.  
  28. * Chroma distortion at definable intensities
  29.  
  30. * Brightness and/or Darkness distortion at definable intensities
  31.  
  32. * Greyscale effect on panels and/or on the background
  33.   (Colour panels on a black and white background is a very classy effect)
  34.  
  35. * Mosaic distortion on panels and/or the background
  36.  
  37. * Animation "staggering" effect for the panels or the background
  38.   (as shown in the greyscale panel in the animation) at definable frame
  39.   step rates.

  41. * Draw your panels directly on a frame to place them

  43. * Saves project files in ASCII text format.  Different animations (at the
  44.   same resolution) can share the same project file.  Project files can be
  45.   edited.
