Short: Digitized Xapshot pics from Winter/CES '93 Las Vegas
(all pics are 736x482, 24 bit color, JPEGged).
All pictures are Copyright 1993 Harv Laser and may be freely
distributed but not published or sold for profit without first
contacting harv@cup.portal.com. They may not be edited in any
way except to convert these JPEGged files into some other graphics
file format (Amiga hi-res, HAM, GIF or whatever) for viewing on
your own hardware. They will look the best if viewed on a 24-bit
RGB display device such as a FireCracker, OpalVision and etc.
I took all of these pictures in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA using my
Canon RC-250 Xapshot still video camera. They are shots of people
and things at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show, January 1993.
CESCBM.jpeg - Commodore's booth ("stand").
3DOPIC.jpeg - 3DO's booth including a prototype Panasonic machine
[NOTE: Didn't put the girls pics into the archive since I con-
sidered them not so important to the _Amiga_ community ;-))
- Chris Schneider, amiga.physik.unizh.ch ]
CESGIRLS1.jpeg - adult film actresses (names given where known)
CESGIRLS2.jpeg - more of the same.
(the pics of the women are rated "PG" - sexy but not nude)
The CES and 3DO booths were at the main Las Vegas Convention Center.
The adult film booths were at the ballroom at the Sahara Hotel.
All Xapshot pictures were digitized using DCTV and then saved to
disk as IFF24 format. Each was then loaded into ADPro, scaled down,
and composited into these "4-up" montage pictures. Each montage
was then titled, and saved back out to disk as JPEG with a 50%
quality setting. This reduced the size of each pic from appx. 1 Meg
each to appx 100K each. All of this was performed on my Amiga 2500.
If you have any questions about these pictures: how I made them,
how I used the products involved, or if you are a magazine and
want to publish them or have me make up some without the Portal
advertisement in them, contact me via email: harv@cup.portal.com
to discuss my fee schedule :-) I uploaded these pics only to the
Amiga Zone on The Portal Online System, and to amiga.physik.unizh.ch,
the Swiss Amiga FTP site.
Enjoy!
