  1. Readme for XMasRachel Picture

  4. I just wanted to drop a note to every one out there to have a
  5. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Included in the package
  6. is a kiss from Rachel in this seasonal picture.  Hope you enjoy it.

  12. This picture (actually, set of pictures) is a hand-drawn picture of a
  13. new cartoon character named 'Rachel the Raccoon' drawn by Leslie Dietz
  14. of Vegreville, Alberta, Canada.
  15.  
  16. This picture is in overscanned hires-interlace (704x480) and is
  17. provided in 16-colour, 8-colour, and 4-colour formats so that you can
  18. use them as a Workbench backdrop picture if you have Workbench 3.0 or
  19. if you have Workbench 2 and use NickPrefs or Tapete to put a picture in
  20. the background of your workbench screen.  The colours are arranged so
  21. that at least on Workbench 2 you will have standard looking titlebars
  22. and menues.

  24. As you may have seen, it is styled after the 'Eric Schwartz' style of
  25. pictures, but the character of Rachel is a totally original creation
  26. of Les's.

  28. By the way, Les's trademark is the little dragon logo in the corner of
  29. his pictures.  Other pictures by Les are 'Rachel_Raccoon' and
  30. 'WaterRaccoon' available in the archive 'RachelRaccoon.lzh' or on Fish
  31. Disk 780.  Look for more of these in the future.

  33. Les used his brand new Amiga 4000 with the program 'DPaint IV' to do
  34. this picture.

  36. The 8-colour and 4-colour conversions of these pictures and the colour
  37. remapping were done by me (Darren Ewaniuk).

  39. Les is a member of the AmiCUE computer club and is a participant in the
  40. AmiCUE Animation SIG.
