There are two ways to make use of these 600 Amiga Fonts. First and perhaps
easiest, is to use the CLI (Shell) and type:
>assign fonts: mrdvol3:600amigafonts then press enter.
This command will then make the Amiga look to the CD for it's fonts.
Unfortunately, when this assignment is active, the shear number of fonts will
make some operations cumbersome.
The second method, is to copy the font directory and associated .font
file into your workbench fonts directory. For example, suppose you want to
install the Clinton font into your workbench fonts directory. The first step is
to open a shell window and type the following and press enter:
>copy mrdvol3:600amigafonts/Clinton.font fonts:
Then you need to copy the Clinton directory into the Fonts: directory.
The command should look like this:
>copy mrdvol3:600amigafonts/Clinton fonts:Clinton
At this point the font and its sizes should be installed and ready to use
from within Workbench and your programs. Simply repeat this process as many
times as is necessary to install all of the fonts you want. Have fun!
