█▌█▐│ FUNBALL v1.0 │▌█▐█ by ≡ Impulse ≡
Wrack your brains on this strategy
game where balls bounce, merge,
shatter, shrink and teleport! Features
huge scrolling playfield, digitized
sounds, and smooth ray-traced
animations in 256-color graphics.
Music & sound on SB compatible cards.
Runs in English, French and German.
Requires: VGA, 286+ CPU, Mouse
If you have problems with Funball, here are some quick trouble-shooting tips:
Problem: while starting up, right after displaying "Initializing sound
system...", the screen blanks with a message from EMM386, and the computer
hangs.
Solution: run Funball with the /NOSOUND switch. Funball tried accessing the
DMA channel 1 to see if you have a sound card capable of playing digitized
sounds. The /NOSOUND switch prevents it from doing so.
Problem: Funball gets stuck making the same move over and over again.
Solution: the ball will automatically disappear after 30 moves, or you can
interrupt the process yourself after at least 5 moves by holding down both
Shift keys.
