  9.   First Time Installation of 
  10.   Hercules Dynamite Windows 3.1 Drivers 
  11.   -------------------------------------
  12.   If you are installing Hercules Dynamite Windows 3.1 drivers the
  13.   first time, you should NOT use Windows' SETUP program. You MUST
  14.   use Dynamite's Install program.
  15.  
  16.   After the installation, you must then run Windows' SETUP 
  17.   program to inform Windows about the Dynamite drivers:

  19.   1) Go to your Windows directory, and type SETUP.
  20.  
  21.   2) Pick "Display:", then press [Enter].
  22.  
  23.   3) Pick the Hercules Dynamite entry from list,
  24.      then press [Enter].
  25.  
  26.   4) Press [Enter] key to "Accept the configuration shown above."
  27.  
  28.   5) IMPORTANT: If Windows presents a screen of currently 
  29.      installed drivers, press [Enter] key to "Keep Driver."

  31.   Each time that you run Windows' Setup and select the Dynamite
  32.   driver, Windows will boot up in 640 x 480, 256 color mode. Use
  33.   the Picture Window utility to select a higher resolution or a
  34.   different color depth.

  39.   Installing the Windows Drivers with Windows on a Network 
  40.   --------------------------------------------------------
  41.   When you are prompted for the Windows directory name during
  42.   the installation process, make sure you enter the name of
  43.   the local Windows directory (the one on your own hard disk),
  44.   as opposed to the network Windows directory. You should also
  45.   always run Windows' SETUP in your local Windows directory.

  50.   Updating the Windows Drivers from a Previous Version
  51.   ----------------------------------------------------
  52.   Case 1) If you have a complete Dynamite Windows 3.1 drivers
  53.           diskette.
  54.  
  55.    Method 1:
  56.     You can use the Dynamite Install program to re-install the
  57.     drivers. The install program is located in your Dynamite
  58.     operating software directory (e.g. C:\HERCULES) and can 
  59.     be invoked by typing "HERCULES" [Enter] if that 
  60.     directory is in your PATH.
  61.  
  62.    Method 2:
  63.     You can use UPWIN.BAT included in your Dynamite Windows
  64.     diskette. Log to the drive containing the disk and type:
  65.  
  66.         UPWIN [source drive:] [Windows directory]
  67.         (e.g. UPWIN  A:  C:\WINDOWS)
  68.  
  69.   Case 2) If you have the uncompressed Windows driver files,
  70.           you can replace the old ones by copying these into
  71.           the Windows' \SYSTEM subdirectory.

  73.   No matter which case you choose to update the files, you must 
  74.   re-run the Windows' SETUP program after updating the drivers.
