  15.   This directory contains high resolution page preview drivers
  16.   for WordStar 6.0 (a-d).

  19.   Instructions for WordStar for DOS Release 6.0
  20.   ---------------------------------------------
  21.   WordStar's Advanced Page Preview requires an external driver 
  22.   to realize graphic displays in resolutions of 800x600 and/or 
  23.   1024x768 (choose an appropriate resolution for your monitor 
  24.   and video adapter configuration). The WordStar files 
  25.   PREVIEW.OVR and PREVIEW.MSG, as well as TLIVGA6.WGD and 
  26.   TLIVGA7.WGD need to be copied to your WordStar directory 
  27.   from the \WORDSTAR subdirectory located on the Hercules
  28.   Dynamite Supplemental Drivers Diskette.

  30.   The following versions of WordStar are compatible with the 
  31.   Advanced Page Preview:

  33.   WordStar 5.5
  34.   WordStar 6.0a - 6.0d
  35.   WordStar 2000

  37.   Users of WordStar 5.5 through 6.0c, and WordStar 2000 
  38.   3.5a-3.5c should replace the PREVIEW files with those 
  39.   provided on the driver diskette. The revision number can be 
  40.   determined by looking at the first line of the flash screen.

  45.   Invoking the High-resolution Driver
  46.   -----------------------------------
  47.   You must specify the driver name within the FONTID.CTL file 
  48.   so that it can be found by the program. Edit the FONTID.CTL 
  49.   (a non-document ASCII file) and change the CRT_TYPE line to 
  50.   read:

  52.   CRT_TYPE=TLIVGAx.WGD
  53.  
  54.   where "x" is either 6 or 7 for 800x600 or 1024x768 
  55.   resolution, respectively.
