  11.        ║    The following instructions describe how to install one  ║
  12.        ║       of the VGA extended video drivers for Windows 3.1    ║

  16. step 1 - You MUST have already installed Windows 3.1 on your system, however
  17.          you do NOT have to reinstall Windows 3.1 again to change the driver.
  18.  
  19. step 2 - Go to the directory where you have installed Windows 3.1.
  20.  
  21. step 3 - Type 'setup' and press ENTER.
  22.  
  23. step 4 - Select the 'Display:' option from the System Information list using
  24.          the UP and DOWN ARROW key and press ENTER.

  26. step 5 - Scroll to the bottom of the list displayed using the DOWN ARROW key.

  28. step 6 - Select 'Other' in the list and press ENTER. You will then be asked
  29.          to insert the hardware manufacturer's display driver disk.

  31. step 7 - Put the VGA display driver disk in the A: drive. Type in 'A:\' if
  32.          the default path shown is wrong.

  34. step 8 - Select the desired driver from the list defined on the disk and
  35.          press ENTER. You may be asked to insert the "VGA display driver
  36.      disk" again. If so, again type in the correct pathname (i.e. 'A:\')
  37.          and press ENTER. When the driver has been configured you will
  38.          return to the original configuration screen.

  40. step 9 - Choose 'Accept configuration shown above' and press ENTER to execute
  41.          the 'Complete Changes' process. Windows will return to DOS when the
  42.          configuration has been completed.

  46. NOTE:
  47.     1 - You can NOT run the 'Setup' (icon) within Windows itself.

  50.     2 - When installing Windows for the first time and electing to select
  51.         one of the drivers provided on the VGA display driver disk; Windows
  52.         setup program at some time will prompt you with the following
  53.         message:
  54.                 Setup needs the following disk
  55.     without giving the name of the disk. It is in fact requesting the
  56.         VGA display driver disk. So, put the VGA driver display disk in
  57.         the A: drive, type 'A:\' and press ENTER.

  60.     3 - The 640x400x256 color driver (PVGA400.DRV) exceeds the capabilities
  61.         of the Paradise VGA Plus card and the Paradise Basic VGA card.
