  8. 1) Please read and follow the instructions for installing Parity in the 
  9.    READ_1ST.TXT file.
  10.  
  11. 2) If Parity appears to "lock up" during an operation and the mouse icon 
  12.    is locked into an Hour Glass cursor just hit the up arrow key.  This 
  13.    should fix the problem.

  15. 3) The *.DAT files created by Parity 1.4 are not compatible with the Parity 
  16.    1.0 version of the program.  You may not use *.DAT files created by 
  17.    Parity 1.4 with the 1.0 version.

  19. 4) The MANUAL.TXT file has not been updated for the new features in Parity 
  20.    1.4.  The actual changes in the manual were minor and are fully reflected
  21.    in the online Help.
