  1. You should do following basic things first:

  3. - Unpack bbbs_2 (or bbbs_d) and bbbs_gen to one directory, hereby called c:/bbs
  4. - Create new subdir called c:/bbs/menus and run menus.exe in there
  5. - Run scripts.exe in c:/bbs directory
  6.  
  7. Now you can configure BBBS with command "bcfg4 1", read sysop manual with
  8. command "bag sysop.gui" and after configuration log in with command
  9. "bbbs.exe 0".

  11. You should also edit files groups, filedirg.000, filedirn.001, alias.bbb and
  12. external.bbb, see sysop manual for further information. Editting can be done
  13. later too, they should be quite correct already.
