  7. Installation
  8.  
  9. Insert the disk into your floppy disk drive. Choose the menu item "Run" 
  10. from the "File" menu in your Program Manager or File Manager. Then type:
  11.  
  12. A:SETUP
  13.  
  14. (Replace the A: with B: if you have your 3.5" drive is B:). You will then 
  15. be prompted for a destination path. Press the Install button. All files 
  16. will be copied to that directory. After the process has finished your 
  17. Program Manager contains a new group with all the new programs on the disk.

  21. About this disk

  23. The redist subdirectory located on the disk contains all programs in the 
  24. form of separately packed self-extractors. If you're planning on 
  25. redistributing any of these programs, please use these separate self-
  26. extractors.

  28. WinDrop   drag&drop launcher with system wide hotkeys and more
  29. FmView    file manager add-on that shows the contents of the selected file
  30. MySound   allows you to assign different wave files to each application
  31. FmExtMan  manages your file manager extensions and you can add more than 4

  45. If you are upgrading from a previous version of FmView or FmExtMan, you 
  46. must close the File Manager before running the FmView or FmExtMan INSTALL 
  47. program from your Program Manager. Otherwise the older version will remain 
  48. active.

  63. WinDrop is a drag & drop program launcher for Windows in the form of an 
  64. icon bar. It lets you assign system wide hotkeys to your apps and has a lot 
  65. of additional features, including saving the last window position of any 
  66. program, a clipboard doubler, clock, reminder, and CD player control. It 
  67. can stick to the File Manager and it can be used as a full Program Manager 
  68. replacement. It also supports remote execution with NDDE, MS-Mail, and has 
  69. an extensive online-help.

  77. FmView is an add-on, that tracks the selection in the File Manager and 
  78. displays the contents of the currently selected file. It automatically 
  79. determines the file format and selects an appropriate representation. (i.e. 
  80. ZIP contents file listing, WinWord 6 as text, BMP as graphics, binary as 
  81. hex). More than 40 file formats viewable, including most graphics and 
  82. archive formats. Text files can be edited. Incremental search to easily 
  83. find text, even in multiple files.

  93. Windows wave files (*.wav) on a per application basis. You can also shut up 
  94. any overbeeped application.

  105. FmExtMan is a File Manager add-on. It allows you to add more than the 4 
  106. add-on DLLs that File Manager limits you to. All top level menus can be put 
  107. into one menu as submenus, so your File Manager menu is not clogged up. 
  108. FmExtMan has a dialog that let's you change, reorder, install & deinstall 
  109. File Manager extensions. You can quickly park and reinstate add-ons and 
  110. toggle whether they show up in the menu bar or a submenu. The toolbar is 
  111. supported.
