  2. Greetings fellow AWE32 users!
  3.  
  4.     For those of you who are just itching to get some new and 
  5. *better* patches, I have been creating some new patches and importing
  6. patches from the GUS and *especially* the Kurzweil k2000 patch set.
  7.     All the conversions have been done using Eskeebay v0.99a, thanks
  8. to Ari Laakonen (apl@vapl.demon.co.uk)!!  This great freeware patch
  9. editor has quite the potential.
  10.     If you would like to hear top quality patch sets, drop me some
  11. E-mail.  Also, all of my conversions are downsized to 512k.  I know
  12. that most of us still have only 512k.  I will make bigger patch sets
  13. only if I get sufficient requests.  Right now, the 512k patch sets are
  14. limited to one or two instruments, but the quality is of high fidelity.
  15.     These patches have all taken a long time to produce, since most
  16. of the process was based on guesswork (I'm sure Ari would agree!)!

  27. Trumpet Patch:
  28.  
  29.     Great trumpet patch with many sub-samples!  You can hear the
  30. squeak as the trumpeter strives to hit those dreaded high notes!
  31. Includes notes from F#3 to F#7.  The original size was over 800k,
  32. but it still sounds fantastic (way better than the paltry AWE32 patch).

  34. HOW TO STUFF:
  35.     - Load this into BANK 1 (from AWE windoze control panel).
  36.     - Select SET.
  37.     - From Cakewalk, select EVENTS LIST of any track.
  38.     - Set CC1 ... that is, Control 0 1 (in that order in the
  39.       columns)
  40.     - Set the patch to TRUMPET (or number 56 --- 57 on some AWE32s)
  41.     - Enjoy!
