  6. Materials: 2 ox. of 4-ply Knitting Worsted or 4-ply Orlon
  7.            #8 straight needles
  8.            2 pkg. bangles
  9.  
  10. Before casting on string on the bangles.  Cast on 3 sts.
  11. Row 1: k1, Slip bangle up close to work, K2 sts.
  12. Row 2: Knit. Increase 1 st in first and last st.
  13. Row 3: k1, * Slip bangle up close to work, k 2 sts. repeat from * across row.
  14. Row 4: Knit. Increase 1 st, in first and last st.
  15.  
  16. Continue last 2 rows to row 20 (10 bangles on row 20) Discontinue bangles
  17. from row 21. Continue to knit increasing in first and last sts. on the even
  18. rows only until there are 53 sts.
  19.  
  20. Then start to decrease first and last sts. on even rows until 11 sts. remain.
  21.  
  22. Do not bind off but draw up the 11 sts. for toe. Fold (bangles outside) and
  23. sew up bottom and 11 ridges on back.
