  1. Coordinate Fabric to Rattan Tray For That Finishing Touch

  4. spray paint or handpaint w/glossy enamel a rattan tray.
  5.  
  6. allow to dry hour an hour or so
  7.  
  8. trim paint (apple barrel gloss) pour onto paper plate, with painter's
  9. brush trim (highlight) tray (contrast)
  10.  
  11. allow to dry.
  12.  
  13. cut out fabric pieces, preferably chintz prints, easier to cut out.
  14.  
  15. plan placement of fabric pieces on tray.
  16.  
  17. place fab pcs on plate, right side DOWN, paint with mod podge, not skimpy
  18. but not overly thick. Don't worry about bits of glue on right side.
  19.  
  20. Lift and place on tray, right side up.
  21.  
  22. Press down with soft cloth
  23.  
  24. Clean excess w/soft cloth and water before dries.
  25.  
  26. Spray on CLEAR glossy spray coating.
  27.  
  28. Dry.
