  3.     Cut Away Lace Appliques (embellished w/Jones Tones)

  5. Materials:

  7. Pre-washed T-shirt
  8. Lace Appliques
  9. Jones Tones Plexi 400 Stretch Adhesive
  10. Jones Tones Pastel Sprinkle (018)
  11. Jewels (if desired)
  12. Shirt Board
  13. Cuticle Scissors

  16. Instructions:

  18. 1. Put shirt over a shirt board.
  19.  
  20. 2. Put a bead of Plexi 400 stretch adhesive around
  21.    the outside of the applique ONLY.
  22.  
  23. 3. Turn applique over and place in short in desired position.
  24.    Press applique down gently. Let applique dry over night.
  25.  
  26. 4. Turn shirt inside out and pill the tee shirt fabric away
  27.    from the applique. Cut a slit in the fabric. Position
  28.    scissors up against adhesive bead and carefully cut
  29.    away fabric. Continue around the entire applique, until
  30.    the fabric is removed. Turn shirt right side out and
  31.    check to see that no tee shirt materials remains inside
  32.    the applique area.

  34. 5. Outline applique with the Plexi 400 Stretch Adhesive.
  35.    You can add dots for leaves, etc, with the adhesive.

  37. 6. Sprinkle glitter over the adhesive. Let set at least 1 hour
  38.    bwfore shaking off excess glitter. Return glitter to container
  39.    for future use.

  41. Sealing Glitter:
  42.  
  43. For glitter art, aafter glitter project has dried EIGHT HOURS,
  44. shake of excess glitter. Dilute Plexi 400 with 30% water and
  45. brush over the glitter design/ Will dry in 20 minutes with any
  46. residue trace and remain flexible with no loss of glitter sparkle.

  48. Applying Jewels:

  50. Place a bead of Plexi Adhesive on fabric ad place jewel on top.
  51. Press down gently until adhesive come up around the sides of
  52. the jewel. You can add glitter to the adhesive surrounding the
  53. jewel if you wish.
