CALLFSEL.CPX - WHAT IS IT?
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Call File Selector is a simple CPX program for the Atari XCONTROL panel
accessory. It allows you to call the file selector from within any program
which has access to the Menu bar and the XCONTROL panel accessory.
The CPX is compatible with all TOS versions, MultiTOS, Geneva and MagiC and
all file selectors including Selectric and Freedom.
CALLFSEL.CPX - USING IT
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Insert the CALLFSEL.CPX file into your normal CPX folder. Either re-boot or
select the XCONTROL panel accessory and select Options/Setup menu item and
click on the right-hand of the two large icons which reloads all the CPX
files. CALLFSEL.CPX should now be available.
Double-click on the CPX entry in the XCONTROL panel display. The file
selector will appear with the root directory of the current drive being
selected.

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Thanks to Jon Ellis for his CPX articles in his excellent Programmers' Forum
series in ST Applications magazine.
Also to Chris Ridd who helped with the black art of programming for Freedom
compatibility (who said Freedom couldn't be called from a CPX!) and to Chris
Lawley who asked for Freedom compatibility and beta tested.
