  19.  The fourth release of CodeHead Utilities is now available!  It brings
  20.  you many exciting new features as well as new and previously-unreleased
  21.  programs.

  23.  Release 4 comes on two disks.  The second disk contains the latest
  24.  versions of all Little Green Footballs Software and demos of all other
  25.  CodeHead products.  Between the two disks there are 34 programs, more
  26.  than ONE AND A HALF MEGABYTES OF SOFTWARE!

  28.  Here's what you get:

  30.  CODEHEAD RAM DISK:
  31.  
  32.  The CodeHead RAM Disk has some new and exciting features.  You can now
  33.  install two different drives in the same RAM disk.  And you can
  34.  configure the RAM disk to contain a RESET-PROOF PRINT SPOOLER!
  35.  
  36.  You can now perform a printing operation and reset your computer without
  37.  losing a single character...the printer will pick up exactly where you
  38.  left off without missing a beat.  Plus, you can save your printer data
  39.  to a standard disk file that can be printed at any time, with or without
  40.  a print spooler!

  42.  This means you can save the raw printer data of a DTP document and
  43.  reprint it at any time WITHOUT EVEN RUNNING YOUR DTP PROGRAM AGAIN!

  45.  ART GALLERY:
  46.  
  47.  Art Gallery is our picture viewer and slide show utility which runs as
  48.  either a program or a desk accessory.  It is now fully compatible with
  49.  Mega STe and TT030 computers and is also compatible with large screen
  50.  monitors.  If you have a large screen monitor, you can view any type of
  51.  picture that matches the current resolution, or has the same number of
  52.  planes but lesser pixel resolution.  This allows you to view ST high-res
  53.  pictures on a Moniterm monitor and ST medium and low res pictures on an
  54.  ISAC or other large screen color monitor.

  56.  There's new support for all TT resolutions, including Prism Paint
  57.  pictures as well as the previous Neochrome, Degas, Art Director, and TNY
  58.  modes.  Using a color monitor on the TT you can view pictures in any of
  59.  5 resolutions no matter what your current resolution is.

  61.  STICK SHIFT:
  62.  
  63.  Stick Shift is a new desk accessory specially designed for handicapped
  64.  people.  It changes the function of the shift keys (Left Shift, Right
  65.  Shift, Control, and Alternate) into toggled keys.  This allows
  66.  complicated shift-key combinations to be typed by a single finger, or
  67.  even a mouthstick.  When Stick Shift is active, a symbol will appear in
  68.  any of the four corners of the screen (your choice) to show which keys
  69.  are currently "stuck" down.

  71.  CODEHEAD ED:

  73.  Included as freeware with CodeHead Utilities is CodeHead's special desk
  74.  accessory version of MicroEMACS, the popular progammer's text editor. 
  75.  At CodeHead Software, we've been using CodeHead ED for years.  Now you
  76.  too can access the power of EMACS as a desk accessory.  CodeHead ED uses
  77.  the GEM file selector for loading and saving files and has been
  78.  optimized in many other areas to help make your text editing tasks as
  79.  easy as possible.  You can bind commands to different key combinations
  80.  to customize it to your own preferences, and the powerful EMACS command
  81.  language lets you create macros and command routines to do extremely
  82.  complex tasks.

  84.  RSC -> ASM CONVERTER:

  86.  We've finally released another of our development tools -- RSC_ASM
  87.  allows you to convert a resource file into assembly language source
  88.  code.  We've been using RSC_ASM for a couple of years now to embed
  89.  resource files into our programs.  A unique system of labelling allows
  90.  you to save both time and instructions by being able to access objects
  91.  and strings directly without using system calls to find addresses, and
  92.  without tedious and error-prone indirection.

  94.  CODECOPY:
  95.  
  96.  CodeCopy is our disk mastering program which is tailored to the task of
  97.  making disk copies (we use it at CodeHead to make all our master disks).
  98.  It features full verification of every byte on your disks plus the
  99.  ability to save an entire disk as a single "image" file.  It can be
  100.  fully controlled either manually or from the command line.

  102.  FONT TRICKS:
  103.  
  104.  Font Tricks allows you to customize your system by changing the system
  105.  screen font.  You can also print ASCII files to Epson-compatible
  106.  printers using the custom fonts.  Almost two dozen fonts are included.
  107.  Font Tricks is now TT compatible.
  108.  
  109.  AUTO ORGANIZER:
  110.  
  111.  Auto Organizer lets you change the order of execution of your AUTO
  112.  folder programs.  Its interface is intuitive and extremely fast,
  113.  performing the actual reorganization almost instantaneously.  Auto
  114.  Organizer is TT compatible along with a couple of bug fixes.

  116.  OTHER UTILITIES:
  117.  
  118.  MultiFile is the granddaddy of MaxiFile.  It gives you a basic scaled
  119.  down set of file and disk functions.  It runs as both a desk accessory
  120.  and a program.

  122.  Our stand-alone print spooler can be configured to any size through a
  123.  separate program.  It will spool a screen dump and its buffer can be
  124.  cleared with a keystroke.
  125.  
  126.  ZeroDisk lets you erase all of the files on a floppy disk in one quick
  127.  operation.
  128.  
  129.  CapsLock is an accessory that shows the current state of the CapsLock
  130.  key.  It can be installed in the upper left or right corner of the
  131.  screen.
  132.  
  133.  Lens is a recursive graphics toy which lets you examine the effects of a
  134.  recursive system and have fun at the same time.
  135.  
  136.  FREEWARE:
  137.  
  138.  The new version of ShowMem4 works with the TT to show you memory blocks
  139.  in fast RAM.  It now works correctly the first time on all ROM versions.
  140.  
  141.  There's a new version of Leonard6, the system bomb handler, with a
  142.  special option for BBS operators.  You can set Leonard6 so that it will
  143.  reboot upon a system error so that the BBS will automatically be
  144.  reinitialized.

  146.  Siren.ACC is fun little police car which drives across the bottom of
  147.  your screen at predetermined configurable intervals.
  148.  
  149.  A patched version of Poolfix4 is included which fixes a bug in its reset
  150.  -resident routine for handling the cookie jar.
  151.  
  152.  NoClear lets you remove the screen clear commands from your AUTO
  153.  programs so that they will scroll nicely up the screen when you boot up.

  155.  Sentinel watches for disk write errors and lets you know if there's a
  156.  problem such as a full disk.  This takes the worry out of working with
  157.  programs that fail to inform you of errors.
