IMG ILLUSTRATIONS FOR BILL JACKSON'S 'CD INLAYS' ARTICLE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello there! Bill sent in these three illustrations in Low, Medium and
High resolution Degas formats, but I'm afraid there's only space on the
disc for the high res versions. (Which is reasonable enough, as they're
screenshots taken from inside Calamus DTP, a programme that only runs in
high res.)
So, to save space, I've converted the pix to IMG format (which can be
viewed in all resolutions: low, med and high) and stored the pix as a
self-extracting compressed file.
To access the pix, copy the INLAYS.TOS file to either a blank disc or
hard drive partition, and then double-click on the file to extract the
pictures from it. (The INLAYS.TOS file can now be deleted.)
The pictures will be decompressed into a folder called INLAYS.IMG and can
be viewed from any art programme, DTP prog or picture viewer that can
load the IMG format. (IMG_VIEW, included on a recent KelAUG disc, and
IMGCOPY are the best choice.)
Enjoy!
