/\/\aggie 26 - Record Breaker!
'Vindaloo, vindaloo, we're gonna write one more texfile than you!' It
would seem.. Thanks to the exceptional efforts of the Maggie Team, and
especially Mr Pink, we're looking at a record-breaking issue in terms
of textfile amounts, the final confirmed figure being well over a
megabytes worth of text!
The size of this issue might have also had something to do with the
exceptionally long wait for it as well! I'm sure I've said this before
(futilely) that maybe we'll have to do these things a little bit more
often!!
This is definitely the biggest Maggie issue from the current team, I
can't really say for earlier issues of Maggie, but I'm pretty sure this
issue contains the most original content of any issue of Maggie ever
written, and I'm sure that does go for the earlier issues as well,
which relied on rather large quantities of 'filler' a bit too much..
For a large part of this, we have to thank Mr Pink who is being tested
for text-enhancing drugs in a parody of the 'Tour de France' fiasco,
tight lycra shorts which go down to the knee, but leave no doubt as to
the gender of the wearer, are suspected!
Inside this issue!
All the latest news, games and demo reviews!
Massive ALT Party report, as it happened!!
All new Mega-Charts, including the Superleague!
Probably the biggest humour section ever!
Multimedia, programming, correspondence, diskmags and more!!
And now, some short messages from our sponsors!
(Cacky fade and dissolve fx to adverts)

Hi MrPink!
I just remembered that you stated in Maggie 25 that our homepage was
www.uu.update.se/~yomat/ or something like that, but that's our old
adress, and we don't update that page anymore. Would you please change
that for Maggie 26 to: www.algonet.se/~monalisa/
Regards
Hencox

Hello ! Here is EdO / SCT 1 on the keyboard.
Sector One News :
We're working on our game Mr Boomer (a Bomberman-like game with
reflexion) and it will be finished soon ...
We're working on a game with a main hero called BILL GATES (It's a
translation of a WINDOWS 95 game !). Imagine to shoot Bill Gates with
some pies ! Do you dream it ? We do it !
I will draw some gfx for Evil / DHS for his new ST demo (with GREAT
EFFECTS for a poor ST).
Last but not least, St Ghost, our ASM coder want to make a MP3
player for the Falcon (He's so brave !!!!!!!!!! It's very difficult but
he thinks that it could be possible. Wait and see...).

Chris...
Small snippet of news that you may be interested in
according to Grey, Rasero Team are doing a diskmag!
More details when I get them...
Leon.

I would also like to bring to your attention a particular textfile
within this issue, that is, the 'Atari.org' piece, which represents
probably the most important change to how Atarians deal with the
Internet, and will be really great in a unifying things and tying
things together sort of way..
One final thing, I would also say that this is an upbeat 'Readme' file,
'Slow Motion Suicide' victims should apply here now for rehabilitation!
"Hmmm, my name is Gloombucket, I'm a well-known German MagaScene
editor, I'm prone to fits of melancholic rage, and I need help....."
Maggie.. "Sorry, we can't help terminal cases!"
Doh, and I've managed to refrain from gratuitious 'Undercover'
references all this time as well! Okay, let's keep this short and
sweet, I'm out of here!
