  15.      You  say  you  feel  that  the futility you feel seems justified. There are
  16. times when we think about discouragements and obstacles and say 'I've not making
  17. up an excuse.  It really is impossible for me to get rich!  I'm  being  rational
  18. about  this!"  This  comes  under  the  category  of a self fulfilling prophecy.

  20.      Naturally I'm going to tell you all kinds of encouraging things, right?  It
  21. wouldn't  be  in  character  for  a  program  called "Get Rich!" to say anything
  22. negative, right?   Well,  maybe  so.  But  there's  nothing  stopping  you  from
  23. following  the right steps and getting rich. Period. A feeling that your failure
  24. to make a fortune is 'solid' and 'absolute' is still only a FEELING. Forget your
  25. instincts for a moment.  In this one  case.  For  once,  don't  let  your  human
  26. nature,  biochemistry, and emotions keep you paralyzed. Realize that despite how
  27. you 'feel', banks and real estate and stocks play by rules. And all you have  to
  28. do  is  learn  how  and  play  by  the rules.  In other words, you can get rich!
