  9. To some of you the above line may look like
  10. some cryptic code of some kind. But actually
  11. it's the address that allows you and other
  12. users around the world to log into our
  13. "page" and get the latest information about
  14. our products!
  15.   
  16. The WORLD WIDE WEB is available on the
  17. INTERNET. And even though it's primarily
  18. used by Mac or PC users, Atari users can
  19. also access information on the WEB by using
  20. something called "LYNX" software.
  21.

  24. The WWW has the ability to display graphics,
  25. sound, text styles, and just about anything
  26. that involves multimedia. To view these
  27. amazing items you really need what is called
  28. a WEB BROWSER. Lucky for us, there are a few
  29. browsers in development for us Atari users
  30. right now! But in the meantime you can still
  31. get onboard by using the "LYNX" software
  32. mentioned above.

  34. LYNX is available to be hooked into via on-line
  35. services like GENIE and DELPHI but you will
  36. need a VT100 emulator to use LYNX properly.
  37. I've been using ANSITERM and it works great.
  38. Some services like DELPHI also provide 
  39. straight ascii browsers that you can use
  40. on-line. This is an excellent way to get
  41. started immediately with the WEB.
