  12. This  is  a  very good mega-demo by Sewer Software.   I will  now  take  you 
  13.   
  14. through each screen in the demo and give a rough description of what happens 
  15.   
  16. in them all.

  18. Here it goes!!!

  21. ~~ TITLES SCREEN ~~
  22.  
  23. Some  excellent  and orginal music here with a scroller going  along  and  a 
  24.   
  25. 'SEWER' logo that is moving around and spinning at the same  time.   Nothing 
  26.   
  27. amazing but I like it and it gives a good first impression.

  29. Good title screen.

  32. ~~ LOADING SCREEN ~~

  34. I like the loading screen because unlike with other loading screens in  some 
  35.   
  36. demos,  you  can enter the screen when you want instead of it  automatically 
  37.   
  38. going  through.   Here you have to press the space bar to go through to  the 
  39.   
  40. screen so this way you can read the scroller again incase you missed it.

  42. There  is a very good and long chip tune playing,  it's not orginal  but  it 
  43.   
  44. really  is  good and while all this is happening,  there is a  picture  that 
  45.   
  46. changes where a man is being squashed by different objects.

  48. A good loading screen, one of the best.

  51. ~~ SELECTION SCREEN ~~

  53. No scroller on this beleive it or not.   Just a picture of a man fishing and 
  54.   
  55. you  scroll  through the demo you want to enter by using  the  cursor  keys.  
  56.   
  57. Everytime  you select a demo,  something horrible happens to  the  fisherman 
  58.   
  59. such  as  being  struck by lightening or getting his head smashed  in  by  a 
  60.   
  61. falling rock.

  63. A  very good and orginal selection screen with some  good  quality,  orginal 
  64.   
  65. music playing as well.

  68. ~~ 3D VECTOR DEMO ~~

  70. This  screen is very good because you can wear 3D glasses and get  a  better 
  71.   
  72. effect.   This  is  allowed because the 3D wire frame objects  that  do  all 
  73.   
  74. different  tricks are flashing between the colours Red and Blue 50  times  a 
  75.   
  76. second producing a very good effect when wearing 3D glasses.

  78. There are lots of different shapes and movements and some good music too.

  80. A good screen.

  83. ~~ TECH TRON 2 ~~

  85. This is an impressive though pretty ugly screen.   There is some good  music 
  86.   
  87. playing with a screen packed full of so much stuff you wouldn't beleive  it,

  89. this a very good screen and very well coded.

  92. ~~ THE BIG FISH DEMO ~~

  94. Some  nice,  orginal music playing while 2 big,  bouncing fish  continue  to 
  95.   
  96. bounce infront of a moving starfield.   They both are looking at a worm that 
  97.   
  98. continues  to  look  everywhere nervously.   There  is  also  an  unreadable 
  99.   
  100. scroller scrolling across the bottom of the screen but apart from that  this 
  101.   
  102. is a very good and orginal demo screen.

  105. ~~ PARALLAX ~~
  106.  
  107. This  is  nothing new but it is very impressive because of  the  continually 
  108.   
  109. changing Parallax graphics.

  111. The result is very good and the music is orginal I think.

  114. ~~ MEGA SCROLLER ~~
  115.  
  116. This  is the type of screen that gets more and more boring,  the more  times 
  117.   
  118. you  see  it in another mega demo.   Just about every mega-demo has  one  of 
  119.   
  120. these and this is nothing special.  The font is mega, but it is horrible and 
  121.   
  122. liny with an average background.

  124. I hate these big scroller screens!

  127. ~~ THE ACIIID DEMO ~~
  128.  
  129. This  is  a  very good and long acid sample.   There is some  speech  and  a 
  130.   
  131. scroller to.  There are also a load of flashing lights and a background with 
  132.   
  133. lots of little spinning faces.

  135. A good screen this one, shame it had to be Acid!!!

  138. ~~ THE DINOSAURS DO THE EAGLE ROCK ~~

  140. This  is a nice and orginal screen.   You choose one of six tunes  and  then 
  141.   
  142. watch the dinosaurs sing it.   It is very well put together and even if  you 
  143.   
  144. don't like it, there is a nice boring scroller going across the bottom.

  147. ~~ SPRITE MANIA ~~
  148.  
  149. This  consists of a 65 fully masking 32 x 32 pixel sprite formation  with  a 
  150.   
  151. big  scroller going through it along with another scroller  going  up.   The 
  152.   
  153. only good thing about this screen is that it teaches you to make a desicion, 
  154.   
  155. which scroller do you pick?!

  157. This screen is pure rubbish I think and even the music is unorginal.

  160. ~~ CRYSTAL SCROLL ~~
  161.  
  162. Good sampled sound and a nice big, bouncing scroller make this a pretty good 
  163.   
  164. screen.   There is also a background with lots of Fuji signs being distorted 
  165.   
  166. and  basically  this  is  quite a good screen if you  like  these  kinds  of 
  167.   
  168. things.

  171. ~~ MUSIC DEMO ~~

  173. A good demo this because there are 10 of Mad Max's best chip tunes here from 
  174.   
  175. the  C-64.   Just scroll through the list,  pick your music and then  settle 
  176.   
  177. back to read the scroller.

  180. ~~ PIXEL PERFECTION ~~
  181.  
  182. This  is an average screen with real time calculations.   There are some  3D 
  183.   
  184. wireframe  objects  spinning about with a small scroller and some  very  old 
  185.   
  186. music  playing.   This  is nothing orginal and not special  at  all  really.  
  187.   
  188. Sorry to be so blunt.  It is very slow but it was only intended to be a disk 
  189.   
  190. filler or so they tell me.

  193. ~~ EXIT SCREEN ~~

  195. This is just a list that you scroll through using the cursor keys to see all 
  196.   
  197. the credits.

  199. There is some good quality,  orgianl music playing along with a 'SEWER' logo 
  200.   
  201. dancing about.

  203. It's nothing special but it's only supposed to be a credits list!!!

  206. ~~ RESET SCREEN ~~

  208. This is a strange screen.   It is completley silent and you see a  formatter 
  209.   
  210. called the 'SILENT FORMATTER' come up and format an imaginary  disk.   There 
  211.   
  212. is no interaction and I don't understand it at all.  
  213.  
  214. You can obtain this demo from me by sending a blank disk and return postage.  
  215.   
  216. Then maybe you could work out what it is all about?!
