MICROPROSE SOFTWARE
===================
MicroProse specialise in brilliant simulation games that try to take
you and your Atari as close as possible to real experiences as they
can, whilst you are actually totally in another world!
Formula 1 Grand Prix is possibly the best car racing game ever to hit
your Atari in terms of reality. The depth and complexity of the game
make it stand head and shoulders above many other so-called
'Simulations'.
Silent Service 2 allows you to prowl the Pacific waves during the 1942
second world war in search of the Japanese Navy. You can relive the
historical battles and control all aspects of ocean warfare in this
compelling 3D wargame. On the other hand, perhaps you would prefer a
quiet Sunday afternoon's golfing match. If you can't find the time or
cash for this expensive hobby, then why not try Microprose 3D golf.
Boasting an impressive range of features including six courses, full
handicap system and multiple angle 3D gameplay, this is as close to
the real thing as you're gonna get!
Railroad Tycoon is a classic game for train enthusiasts everywhere!
Similar in stle to Sim City, this game has you controlling a railroad
building business across America and England. This was written by Sid
Meier who also wrote games for the old Atari XL/XE computers such as
Solo Flight and Solo flight 2.
B17 flying fortress is a simulation of the daylight air raids over
Germany with a crew of 10 men in a B-17 bomber plane. It's a very
realistic flight sim which combines strategic and arcade elements to
produce a brilliantly satisfying game.
