  1.             Colour Specbox
  2.  
  3.   Click on the Colour Option to enter
  4.  
  5. Item: Clear HBLs
  6. Type: Action Bar
  7. Desc: Erases the whole of the memory
  8. bank containing any HBLs which may have
  9. been set up since Canvas was loaded. Be
  10. careful when working around this option
  11. as there is no Undo function for the
  12. HBL list. See the HBL section of this
  13. manual for more details.
  14. Opts: All HBL and palette options on
  15. the Colour Specbox (COS)
  16.  
  17. Item: Default All
  18. Type: Action Bar
  19. Desc: Resets all 16 colours in the
  20. current palette to the colours they
  21. were when Canvas was loaded. Careful -
  22. you cannot Undo this function!
  23. Opts: All options on the Colour Specbox
  24. (COS), Colour Bar (MM)

  26. Item: Default One
  27. Type: Action Bar
  28. Desc: Similar to Default All (described
  29. above), except that it only defaults
  30. the current colour selected on the
  31. Colour Bar at the bottom of the Main
  32. Menu screen.

  36. Item: Palette
  37. Type: Infobar
  38. Desc: Select from here which one of the
  39. 64 palettes (0 to 63) you wish to use.

  43. Item: R.G.B.
  44. Type: Special Selector
  45. Desc: By clicking on the three sliders,
  46. you can alter the Red, Green and Blue
  47. values of the current colour selected
  48. on the Colour Bar at the bottom of the
  49. Main Menu screen. You need not drag the
  50. sliders to the position you wish, (like
  51. the Control Panel DeskTop Accessory
  52. requires) - simply click at the
  53. appropriate position on the Slider bar.
  54. R.G.B. levels go from 0 to 15. On an
  55. Atari STE (the enhanced computer), all
  56. 15 levels are active. On an ordinary ST
  57. only 7 seven levels are available - the
  58. levels go up in steps of 2 : 0 and 1 are
  59. the darkest, 2 and 3 the next darkest,
  60. and so on up to 6 and 7.

  64. Item: Set HBL
  65. Type: Action Bar
  66. Desc: Allows you to set where an HBL
  67. containing the palette (selected on the
  68. Palette Infobar above) should occur on
  69. the screen. Note that this enters the
  70. current work screen. In the top left
  71. the Y value of the line you are at is
  72. displayed. Move the line to your chosen
  73. place and click the left mouse button.
  74. This enters that HBL in the HBL table.
  75. The right button aborts the option. You
  76. will then be returned to the Main Menu.

  78. Opts: All options on the Colour Specbox

  81. Item: Shift Pal
  82. Type: Action Bar
  83. Desc: By clicking on the box marked
  84. 'Shift Pal', all of the colours between
  85. the Rotate markers (on the Colour Bar -
  86. bottom of Main Menu), will be 'shifted'
  87. towards the current colour selected
  88. (again on the Colour Bar). This means
  89. that each of the Red, Green and Blue
  90. levels of these colours are brought
  91. towards the values of the current one.
  92. To shift just the Red, Green or Blue
  93. levels of those colours, click on the
  94. R,G or B buttons below this option.
  95. NOTE: If you use an Atari STE, this
  96. function will shift the RGB levels by
  97. 2 places, not 1 : this is to maintain
  98. compatability between the machines.

  102. Item: View HBLs
  103. Type: Action Bar
  104. Desc: By clicking on this button you
  105. may view all the HBLs set so far.
  106. Before you do so though, ensure that
  107. you select the palette that is to be at
  108. the top of the work screen using the
  109. Palette Infobar above. Press any key to
  110. return to the Main Menu. Refer to the
  111. HBL section of the manual.
