Lee J Round.
Hello Dave,
I would like to thankyou for the good advice you gave me during the past
few days concerning printer's, I know very little on the subject and your help
came in very handy in fact i have decided to buy one. I had two options to go
for it was either the Dot matrix or Bubble jet but all i wanted was something
to print out letter's, simple letter heads and graphics so i have opted for
the Dot matrix besides my friend can do her college work with it and that was
the main reason for buying one anyway, she seems to spend hour's writing long
essay's by hand (not my idea of having fun).
I found the ST+ Tools disk very easy to get to grips with and i can now
add graphics and simple effects to my articles without to much fuss but what
i would like to say is that Tony Greenwood is a very talented programer.
I always thought that adding such GFX to articles would be very hard to do but
the procedure was very easy to follow and the end results rewarding. I was
also pleased to hear that Deano (Hiya mate) has joined the team and that the
stos section continues which has to be a good thing for ST+. I remember that
'Stosser' had a Telegraph pole section and so would you consider having one
for ST+ what ya think..
Well mate that's it for now so once again thanks for the advice and as
usual keep up the great work, looking forward to the next issue.

It's him again......Lee.
ST+:
Hiya Lee....
Good to hear from you again, of course now your no longer a 'usual' reader this
will be your last reader letter :)))
I'm glad I could help with your printer questions ect. as you'll see this month
I've also knocked up a 1stWORD+ tutorial to help you along...for now though I
gues your gonna have your hands full with your new job with ST+, many, many
welcomes from myseld and the rest of the team...
As for the telegraph pole, well, we do have a Kontacts Korner but to be honest
it seems to be generating little interest for one reason or another, still, I'm
open to suggestions on how to improve ST+ (any offersof spellchecking will be
accepted ;))

HI DAVE!
Well, I've been a touch slow in writing an article, well, slightly more than
slow, well, six months. Sorry about that, I couldn't think about what to do an
articel on as I know little on Atari really, then I was revising for my
GCSE's, and the time just flew by, sorry.
Anyway, thanks for telling me about Martin selling those SIMMS, I now have
four megs! I also got an SM124 off this bloke who was selling some stuff off.
I got a box of 96 disks for a fiver off him as well, some of them even work!
So now I have plenty of programs, but don't quite know how to actually use
them, but I never read manuals much anyway. I suppose that survey thing in ST+
12 is a bit late now, but I sent it on the disk anyway.
Oh, I think ST+ is brilliant by the way, nearly forgot to type that, sorry
again.
I got a Jaguar now, From Littlewoods catalogue it was 80 quid, I'm a bit naff
at playing the games, can only get to Chapter 3 on Bubsy. It is a brilliant
console though.
I've written two articles, take out what is decent in them, I did one about
Sci Fi, and as couldn't think of anything to do on Atari I wrote one about
Mars, what with Pathfinder landing there on July 4. But that's it really a I
couldn't think of much else to do, but I think I know what articles to do for
next month, a new reason to not like Microsoft, original, eh.
Anyhow, I've run out of things to type now, how are things, having a nice
life? Well, I just remembered, use the blank disk I sent you with this letter
to put ST+ on when you send it to me as they are school disks and are a little
funny over anything apart from copying disks, you see they corrupt very easily
if used for anything but copying.
Anyhow, sorry it took sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long to write back and
ST+ s brilliant, did I already type that?
Have nice life and may Microsoft collapse, the PC market burn...etc.
Oh, and I'm going to get a hard drive finally, there's a PC show in
Scarborough soon so I'm getting it from there, that's it now, I'm off to play
Cybermorph,
CHEERS. ...
TOM! (°·°) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
\_/
PS, I forgot to say, thanks very much for answering my questions in the
letter, I haven't put this in the printed version, 'cos, guess what, my
printer won't work, I think the fuse went, or because a shaving adapter was
been used for it to work, or maybe not. Anyway ST+ is brilliant and, well
that's it. I hope that the two articels are all right, the one on Mars can
always be stuck in the Sci Fi section, it's about Viking, and a touch of
conspiricy theory. The one on Sci Fi has about Chanel (5), Babylon 5, and a
review of Dark Universe, which has to be seen to be believed, there's some
other stuff in it but I cant remember. Anyway, hope St+ goes from strength to
strength and I'll be back next month with two more articels, kind of computer
related as they'll be on Microsoft, kind of Sci Fi as it will be about a new
Microsoft idea.
Well, I have to go now, I'm really pi$$ed off about the printer, I'l have to
WRITE next time, can you believe that, with a PEN! I dont know if I can, it's
a scary concept, the problem with the printer is it's Canadian, so don't work
on our power and needs an adapter, and that's where the problems start, anyway
it's quite long so I won't bore you with it, hope these are in time for the
July issue of ST+, otherwise the Mars thing will seem a bit out of date, bye,
have a nice life, and, well, bye.

(again)
TOM :)
ST+:
Hiya Tom.....
Nice to hear from you again.
Where to start, Hmm, let's start, at the beginning... firstly, thanks for your
articles, they are you see on this issue. I'm glad you made good use of the
Stockmarket, it just goes to show that there are some goodies just waiting to
be snapped up, I myself have, over the last six months brough a monitor and
Printer from Martin, items I'd not normally have bothered with.
I'm sure your not going to regret buying a Jag, Cybermorph is fine, but wait
until you see DOOM!, you'll wonder how you ever played games without it :))
Sorry to hear about your printer problems, it would seem a few readers are
going through a bad patch, printer wise, hopefully someone might have an answer
for you after reading your letter so don't give up hope just yet.
Look forward to hearing from you again...
Dave....
