  5. This is a brand new idea which the guy Fredrik Kenmo gave to me!
  6. It is a very good idea,reviews of Bulletin Board Systems!
  7. That is why I begin to review his BBS,named Tullinge BBS.There will
  8. surely be more reviews next time,but in this issue I hadn´t too
  9. much time,so I´ve decided to review just ONE BBS this time!

  13. TBBS is a bulletin board in Tullinge,Sweden.The Sysop´s name is
  14. Fredrik Kenmo and he´s got two asst.sysop´s:Juan Irming (a member
  15. of SYNC) and another guy whose name I can´t remember at the moment...
  16. Sorry!
  17. He drives the BBS on a Macintosh (2 I think) and a 2400 baud rate
  18. modem.The BBS program is Red Ryder Host 2.0.
  19. A little time ago he upgraded something on the computer so that it
  20. would go 40 times faster! And that is VERY FAST!
  21. The BBS supports Amiga,ST and Macintosh users.

  23. He´s got around 400 users and a few of them are from other countries,
  24. such as Denmark and Belgium.And therefore TBBS has special message
  25. areas ONLY for the people from other countries than Sweden.

  27. Well Online games then?? Yes,in TBBS you will find the most wonderful
  28. online games,such as Wrestling or Dungeons.
  29. But if you want to play these online games,you´ll have to pay a 
  30. small fee.For 20 Swedish KR you will get access to all online games
  31. + extra time on the BBS-1 hour.This because the Sysop doesn´t want
  32. to pay alone for the online games (they are very expensive if you
  33. want to buy them).

  35. The message areas are not too filled,even though there are so many
  36. users.That is very strange,I don´t understand what people do
  37. in this BBS...Play online games maybe?
  38. One very good thing with the message areas is this:if you write a 
  39. message in TBBS,then that message will be in another BBS the next
  40. week or something like that.And in the same way letters from 
  41. other BBS´s will come to TBBS.That system is called Fidonet and
  42. I think it is a very good idea of how to get more letters to your
  43. BBS even if nobody wants to write letters!!

  45. The file areas have not so many programs.That´s sad,people just
  46. take programs but don´t give any,so the Sysop has to feed the
  47. users all the time (I´m talking about the ST areas,I don´t know
  48. the state in other areas).

  50. Well,there are even more functions than I have told you here.But 
  51. I don´t have capacity to write more...I´m too tired...
