  23. Yes... finally it's finished!
  24.  
  25. Maybe  it's too  late, maybe  not, the
  26. point that we don't spreaded  the date
  27. of  release gave us  some room  and so
  28. there wasn't the  big pressure as with
  29. former releases.

  31. This issue could have hit  the scene 2
  32. or even 3 weeks earlier, but this time
  33. a very strange thing happened! As some
  34. of you know I'm  changing  my flat and
  35. at the moment I'm still sitting on the
  36. cartons  with all the stuff, but in my
  37. old flat! Since  the 1st  of October I
  38. rent  a new  one (address in the mag!)
  39. but I couldn't move as fast  as I have
  40. thought at  first. So  the intro, what
  41. DEEZ of  MiND DESiGN promised me, does
  42. not  reached me... it was  sent to  my
  43. new address even  if I wasn't  already
  44. living there... so the letter was sent
  45. back to Sweden... aaarg!

  47. I know, it's my fault, but I don't had
  48. the knowledge of the problems with all
  49. this stuff, moving  from  one flat  to
  50. the  new  one,  esp. because  my whole
  51. family is  changing the  flats  at the
  52. moment...

  54. Anyway, all  stuff can  be sent  to my
  55. new address now. I think  with the end
  56. of October I  will live  there, hey! I
  57. already have to pay my rent!

  59. This confusing stuff opened the chance
  60. to  write some more articles and so we
  61. smashed through the 1 MB frontier this
  62. time... massive, eh?! =)

  64. I will not  talk about all the  things
  65. in the  mag but  I have  to enclose  a
  66. message concerning  the SiliConvention
  67. 1999. Because  it seems  as  the whole
  68. old  organizer staff  isn't interested
  69. in a new  edition  of this  party, the
  70. Dresden  posse (Checkpoint, Escape and
  71. maybe some  others) will take over the
  72. job to organize  the historical easter
  73. party next year. At the moment nothing
  74. is save but  I think in the next issue
  75. of the UCM we can spread the first and
  76. maybe sure informations about it!

  78. Another topic: the  things  between us
  79. and  Maggie. Some  people don't  liked
  80. the latest  UCM and were one a crusade
  81. against us. Maybe they're right, maybe
  82. not. Anyway, we'll  go in  competition
  83. now... up to now  all was fake. And if
  84. someone thinks we want to split up the
  85. scene I want to ask you "Why?!".

  87. It's the most dull thing I ever heard,
  88. please think, not we, the  makers will
  89. split anything, no, the readers decide
  90. what they have to do...
  91. Anyway, Maggie  has made  a step which
  92. hitted  us  a bit  unprepared  and  we
  93. still don't know why they (or at least
  94. Mr Pink) were  going  so mad, but  the
  95. most surprising  thing is that all the
  96. people who claimed  that we're the mad
  97. killers  of the scene, were quiet this
  98. time... even  if  the  Maggie  crusade
  99. against us  is one of  the most unfair
  100. and unsavoury in the history of the ST
  101. scene  at all, esp. the  motivation to
  102. do such a slagg-off  is unintelligible
  103. for us at all...

  105. But I still think that the guys who're
  106. claiming  that  we're  splitting  this
  107. scene will again kick us for our kicks
  108. against Maggie in UCM 13 and this will
  109. be much more  unintelligible because I
  110. think we  have the  right, no, we have
  111. the  duty to fight  against such  rude
  112. and unfair attacks...

  117. And there's another topic where I want
  118. to talk  about. It seems as a big part
  119. of the  Atari scene is very intolerant
  120. at  the moment. Yes, you're  right! It
  121. seems  as words  like "friendship" are
  122. not  worth  anything! "What the hell?"
  123. you'll ask, maybe...
  124. It's the  thing with the PC buying old
  125. Atarians. Just like mOd, he was fucked
  126. like  hell as he told that he bought a
  127. PC... No one asked why but many wanted
  128. to kick him for this... What's up? Are
  129. you looking  just for  friends with an
  130. Atari at home? And do you really think
  131. it will make fun to mOd to paint  some
  132. stuff for  people  who're  so  fucking
  133. intolerant? I think not... it seems as
  134. not the people who're  buying PC leave
  135. the scene, no they were more kicked by
  136. the Atarians itself, even if they want
  137. to go on for this scene...
  138. It's so dull to call them traitors and
  139. liars  because they  aren't! Have  you
  140. ever thought about the word "friend"?!
  141. It seems  not. Is a  machine much more
  142. worth than a real friend?! NEVER!
  143. So  just  think  a little  bit  before
  144. kicking another one!
