THE THIRD DIMENSION
If you are not sure how to save text as ASCII format or you don't
know what it is then read on-
Most word processors allow you to save a text file in ASCII
format.Ascii is a form of text that can be read by different
computer formats ( PC Atari Amiga etc ) and is a basic
internationally recognisable form of text that can be swapped
between different types of computers.ASCII is text in its most
basic form and it does not save style or layout data.
You can usually find a SAVE AS ASCII option in one of your
menus or if you are writing text on something like FIRSTWORD PLUS
( ATARI ) then all you have to do is to go up to EDIT in the
menu and turn the tick off next to WP MODE by clicking on it then
saving your text as e.g. WORDTEXT.TXT with the .TXT file
extension after the filename.
If anyone can give more PC or Amiga details then write in.
