  46. There are a few things you have to do to get it to work:
  47.  
  48. 1) Remove the resistor terminator pack
  49. 2) Track down a 150 Ohm resistor that's tied to the +5V line.  This
  50.    resistor brings the voltage down to 2.5V when the drive is called.
  51.    However, the Atari needs it to be 0V.  Replace it with a 1K Ohm
  52.    resistor.
  53. 3) Get a copy of the PCF554.PRG program.  You have to slow down
  54.    the access to drive B (the 5.25 inch drive) to 6ms.  It cannot
  55.    reliably access the drive at 3ms.
  56.  
  57. You'll also have to use a program like DC Format 3.02 to format the
  58. disks.  You cannot format them using the desktop.  Also, you will have
  59. to mess with the different jumper blocks on the board to find the
  60. correct configuration.

  112. Yes.  The only part which has the version number 3.01 is the driver,
  113. called AHDI.PRG when it's in the AUTO folder of the floppy, called
  114. SHDRIVER.RAW in the HINSTALL directory, and called SHDRIVER.SYS when
  115. it's instlled on your hard disk.  For everything else, 3.00 is right
  116. and fine.

  143. you turn your system on...) is version 3.01.

  155. However, I have a couple questions. What is the difference between the
  156. Adaptec 4000, 4000A, and 5500 controllers? Also, what size of power supply
  157. would I need for a full-height 10-Meg drive? Thanx.

  197. Yes it does work on US machines. It's a VERY neat program. You can hours
  198. of fun with it by turning on some of your favorite music and just playing
  199. with the effects in a dark room.
