The Trading post is a selection of messages from the Trading post area
on the ACE Bulletin Board for members and friends of members to buy and
sell computers and peripherals. Except under special circumstances it is
not a dealers area and advertising for services is not allowed.
Members who do not use a modem and are interested in replying to messages
where there is no contact number, may ring a committee member who will
pass the message on. Alternatively, fax the Bulletin Board Minder direct on

Subj : for sale!
Greetings all you wealthy people out there!
I'm looking for a buyer for one of my hard disks:
Hostadapter : ICD Advantage+
Mechanism : Seagate ST-296N
Capacity : 84MB (formatted)
Data rate : >650KB/s
Average seek : <30ms
Other features : The latest release of the ICD hard disk software, which
includes a truly excellent formatter and hard disk driver, which incorporates a
cache (both read and write, also verify caching!)
: Genuine ICD DMA cable, DMA out port, simple modification
will allow SCSI out to other SCSI devices (other drives, tape units, etc)
: Battery-backed realtime clock in the hostadapter.
: Stylish black 2-u 19" rackmount case
: Generous 150W power supply means that the unit runs so cool
that a fan is unneccesary, thus it is VERY quiet!
: Proven reliability - the BBS has run on it for the last 4
months, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without a single disk error.
: Fully formatted and partitioned to your preference, with
Gemini (alternative desktop) and other utilities installed (including atari's
own hard disk defragmenter/checker and Turtle 3.2 hard disk backup program.)
For this, I am asking $985.00, plus freight to your corner of the country.
Any offers seriosly considered.

Subj : Help!
Is there anyone out there with a Resource Editor and a few spare moments that
could build me a menu resource for a program I'm working on at the moment? It's
only a little one....
I am, how they say, totally and desperately poor, so I can't buy one to do it
myself. I can hand code all the dialog objects myself (neccessity being the
mother of tedium and all that :-) but menus are just a bit too much...
Any help would be more than greatly apreciated...
