  63. 5.0  Reasons for Changes to Programs and Files

  65.      ZCPR2 Change Summary:
  66.           Mod 0.1 corrected a bug in single-character input
  67.                     associated with the ERA and REN functions
  68.           Mod 0.2 corrected a reliability problem with the ^S
  69.                     (output pause) function which showed itself
  70.                     when the TYPE command executed without paging
  71.           Mod 0.3 enhanced responsiveness of ZCPR2 in the rare
  72.                     case where a file which was not $$$.SUB in
  73.                     the directory A$ contained a "$" character
  74.                     in its name; in this rare case, unnecessary
  75.                     disk thrashing occurred, but ZCPR2 continued
  76.                     to perform correctly

  79.      ZCPR2 Utility Change Summary:
  80.           DU2 contained a bug in that the queue status report
  81.                     was calling the wrong numeric output routine
  82.           LDIRZ was upgraded via assembly when an error in the
  83.                     M80 assembler caused a bug to be introduced
  84.                     in the SSORT Module of SYSLIB 2.4; no change
  85.                     to the source of LDIRZ was required
  86.           MKDIR was affected by the same bug in the SSORT Module
  87.                     of SYSLIB 2.4

  90.      SYSLIB Change Summary:
  91.           SSORT did not define the storage area required by the
  92.                     identifier "I" and the M80 assembler did not
  93.                     flag this as an error; instead M80 assigned
  94.                     the value 8 to the symbol "I", causing memory
  95.                     locations 8 and 9 to be modified by SSORT;
  96.                     the error was corrected by changing the name
  97.                     of the symbol "I" to "IDX" and assigning
  98.                     storage to this symbol
  99.           SVERSION was upgraded to reflect the new version number
  100.           SYSLIB.REL is Version 2.5 of SYSLIB
