  12.    The Greek text of the New Testament according to the Nestle-
  13.    Aland 26th edition/UBS 3rd edition (N26) included as part of the
  14.    Online Bible software program has been extensively adapted,
  15.    altered, proofed, and corrected by Maurice A. Robinson and Larry
  16.    Pierce from a text conforming to that distributed by the
  17.    External Services Division of the Center for Computer Analysis
  18.    of Texts (CCAT) of the University of Pennsylvania.

  20.    The Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia text (BHS) of the Hebrew Old
  21.    Testament was obtained from the CCAT and converted to the Online
  22.    Bible format.  The original CCAT text has also been extensively
  23.    adapted, altered, proofed, and corrected by Maurice A. Robinson
  24.    and Larry Pierce for Online Bible purposes.

  26.    The Revised Standard Version (RSV) text of 1947 and 1973 was
  27.    obtained from the CCAT, and has been corrected and adapted to
  28.    the ONLINE BIBLE format by Larry Pierce.

  30.    According to the license agreement issued by the CCAT, "these
  31.    texts are only available for NON-COMMERCIAL personal/scholarly
  32.    and educational use, with the understanding that CCAT needs to
  33.    maintain records of those to whom copies are distributed."

  35.    Each recipient is therefore requested to "please sign the USER
  36.    DECLARATION" given below, "and return it for our files.  An
  37.    electronic copy . . . is included on your diskettes and should be
  38.    used if you transmit any of this electronic material to anyone
  39.    else."

  41.    All recipients of the Online Bible texts for the Nestle 26/UBS 3
  42.    Greek text, the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia Old Testament
  43.    Hebrew Text, or the Revised Standard Version 1973 text should
  44.    therefore notify the CCAT in accordance with their license
  45.    agreement, using the form provided below.  No further fee or
  46.    consideration is required by the CCAT for this declaration.

  48.    The CCAT additionally offers diskette-based ASCII texts for the
  49.    Septuagint, the Vulgate, the Targums, and the Apocrypha (KJV or
  50.    RSV), along with other Biblically-related files.  Interested
  51.    parties may contact the CCAT for a list of texts currently
  52.    offered by them.

  66.    made all reasonable efforts to insure that appropriate consent
  67.    and permission has been obtained from copyright holders of
  68.    published texts converted into machine-readable form as well as
  69.    from producers of the electronic form, and thus that fair and
  70.    permitted use of such materials does not constitute an
  71.    infringement on copyright.  Pertinent information is included in
  72.    the documentation supplied with the electronic materials.  In
  73.    accepting the machine-readable materials and/or programs listed
  74.    below, as distributed by ONLINE BIBLE, the recipient agrees to
  75.    observe the following "fair use" provisions:

  78.        purposes without first obtaining the written consent of the
