  2.      autoreply - Automatic mail reply system

  9. DESCRIPTION
  10.      Autoreply is a part of The Elm Mail System  and  is  designed  to  enable
  11.      users  to  easily  set up an automatic response to all mail they receive.
  12.      This is typically during a vacation or some other period of time that the
  13.      user  is  not available to reply to mail (although some people get enough
  14.      mail that they have it permanently running to simply  send  an  "ack"  to
  15.      each message)

  17.      The system is quite easy to use...   You  can  type  "autoreply"  and  be
  18.      informed  of your current status in the system (on or off), or "autoreply
  19.      off" will turn your autoreplying off.

  21.      To add yourself to the system, you need merely to compose a form response
  22.      in a file somewhere, then type "autoreply file" where file is the name of
  23.      the file.

  25. SPECIAL NOTE
  26.      For this to function correctly, the program "arepdaemon" must be  running
  27.      as  a  daemon  in  background.  This program automatically checks all the
  28.      currently enrolled users for new mail in their mailboxes...

  38. BUGS
  39.      Unfortunately, this program isn't too brilliant  about  identifying  mail
  40.      that  shouldn't  be  responded  to (like mail from other daemons, or your
  41.      mother) but that's a more general problem anyway.

  43.      Also, occasionally a user  will  remove  themselves  from  the  autoreply
  44.      system  and the system won't turn their autoreply off.  This is a problem
  45.      that  hasn't  been  solved  yet  (obviously  since  it's  in  the  "bugs"
  46.      section!!) and any further information would be appreciated!
