ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. DIPRUN ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
DeskTop Install Procedure Runner runs an custom install procedure. This Custom
install procedure was written with the DIPWRITER ( DeskTop Install Procedure
Writer) package from TopDesk Software.
DIPRUN runs the install procedures built by DIPWRITER. DIPRUN can be
distributed with the procedure file and the application that is to be install
without charge. DIPWRITER can be purchased for $39.00 US or $45 CND.

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Parameter Main Window ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
DIPRUN will run the install procedure file $INSTALL.DIP if no install procedure
file is specified as a command line parameter. To run a procedure file with a
different name (ie ABC.DIP) start DIPRUN with the procedure name as a
parameter. For example;
DIPRUN ABC.DIP /S
You can start the procedure immediately by specifing the /S parameter. The /M
parameter will start the procedure immediately and the diprun status window
will remain minimized until the procedure is completed. Apone completion
Diprun will then automatically quit if the /M parameter was specified
The Progress box shows approximate percentage of the install that has been
completed. The list box below displays the status status messages generated by
each step of the install procedure.

Press the install button to begin to run the install.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.2. Quit Button ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Press the quit button to exit the install procedure.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.3. Disk Selection ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The combo box will list all the disks available to install onto. Select one of
the disks or accept the default disk. This disk and the main directory you
specify will form the basic path that all subdirectories will be created in.
Copy file actions will use this disk/directory path as the default destination.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.4. Specify Directory ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Specify the main directory to install into. The main directory and the disk you
specify will form the basic path in which all action will be performed. For
example any directory create actions will be created in this main directory.
Copy file actions fill use this disk/directory path as the default destination.

The installation messages for each install action will appear in this box.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.6. Progress Box ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This box provides a rough approximation of the percentage of the install that
is complete.
