PRODUCT LIST
May 1993
----------------------------------------------------------------------
DOS
----------------------------------------------------------------------
CRONTAB - 2.2 October 1991
CRONTAB is a program that will run programs based on the
date. Execution can be periodic such as daily, weekly, monthly,
or yearly with or without a specified offset such as the third
day of the month. Execution can also be day-specific such as
every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or on the 15th of each month.
If it has to be done periodically, then CRONTAB is the program to
do it. Free for private use.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
DSP - 1.10 December 1991
DSP is a program that attempts to evaluate the speed with which an
average program is able to read or write data on a specific disk drive.
Generally speaking, the numbers reported by DSP will be lower than those
reported by other programs. This is because the code is not written in
assembler, and my goal was to provide a real world picture of a drive's
capabilities. Free for private use. Includes ANSI C source code.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
QCRONDOS - 1.00 November 1992
QCRONDOS is a single process event scheduler much like the *nix
cron function and is designed to run programs in a sequential order
based on the current date and time. Schedules can be simple, such as
running a job every hour, or as complex as running a job every 2 hours
during the hours of 8pm to 8am, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, during the
last half of the month. Free for private use.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
QLISTF - 1.02 May 1993 (DOS & OS/2)
QLISTF is designed to number and paginate source code, with
lots of options such as incrementing lines numbers by 5, including
printer setup codes in the print file, restarting line numbers on each
page. Archive includes both DOS & OS/2 executables. Free for private
use.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
QTOD - 1.21 November 1990
QTOD allows you to create a commented & formatted date/time
string to be placed into a file either by DOS's redirection
commands or by specifying a file. Handy for creating log files
to track events such as automated file transfers, system backups,
file restores, or system testing. QTOD's output format can
easily be changed via its companion program. Free for private use.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
QUTIL1 - 1.00 October 1992
QUTIL1 is a collection of *nix-like utilities and other useful
utilities. QUTIL1 is distributed only as a package and is free for
private use. The following utilities are included:
*nix-like utilities:
QBANNER - Print messages in an extra large font.
QCAL - Prints a calendar for a month or whole year.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
SSEARCH - 1.2 November 1990
SSEARCH is a program that will scan a binary file and extract
any strings of words that it finds. This can be used to verify
that a copyright notice exists in a program, to check a file from
an unknown source for text strings that might indicate that the
program is either infected or a trojan horse, or just for the
curious. Free for private use.
