1. If you are using an ImagePro board with a large-screen monitor, first turn off your large screen display using the control-panel. This is done by selecting the 'VIDEO' button on the control-panel, then pressing the 'OFF' button. You can then press 'OK' and close the control-panel.
2. During installation, you will be asked if you wish to replace existing files of the same name and you should respond OK.
If you are using System 6.0x:
Copy the files "SystechInit" and "SystechCdev" into your System Folder. These files are located on the Systech Support diskette in the folder named "Files For Your System Folder". If you are using a Mac Plus or 512KE, also copy the file "AppleTalk" into your System Folder.
If you are using System 7.0x:
Drag the files "SystechInit" and "SystechCdev" onto the icon for your System Folder. System 7 will automatically place these files into their proper folders. These files are located on the Systech Support diskette in the folder named "Files For Your System Folder"
3. If you use System 7.01 and the System 7 TuneUp you will also need to install the file called "Patch701". This file is found with the SystechInit and SystechCdev files and is installed the same way.
4. If you are installing optional software, such as SmartCache or RAMDisk Plus, consult your manual for instructions.
5. ImagePro users may now open the control-panel document to reselect the desired monitor.
6. Restart your computer to activate the new software.
7. If you have any difficulties, please consult your manual for troubleshooting instructions.
8. Special note for 'headless mac' owners:
If your ImagePro large-screen system has been configured without your original internal screen you may have problems if you did not first turn off the large-screen option before installing new software, or if your "Accelerator Preferences" file has been damaged or lost. In such a situation, you may force the ImagePro to boot on the large screen by holding down the SHIFT key, the OPTION key, and a letter key that corresponds to your particular monitor. Once the large-screen is active, you should use the control panel to select the correct monitor.

A new implementation of the control block signature now distinguishes between minor revision numbers to avoid conflicts among various versions of our software.
04-09-92

04-13-92
Several new applications are bombing with an Unimplemented Trap error when running under Sys 6.0x. We have determined that these programs are making incorrect assumtions about certain system resources. We have taken steps to gaurd against this irresponsible behavior. As we become aware of any future transgressions, we will do our best to clean up their messes.
04-14-92

Changes to Quik30 support software for version 4.7
8-7-91
Added alert boxes to SmartCache when increasing size above current allocated protected memory block.
8-9-91
OEM strings updated.
8-12-91
Requests for a protected memory block now look at all free blocks to find one of sufficient size, not just the first.
8-13-91
The RAM drive initialization routine now looks for all free blocks larger than 32K instead of stopping if the first free block is too small.
8-14-91
Now merges adjacent free blocks of protected memory as soon as they are marked free. This prevents fragmentation of the protected memory area and ensures that free blocks are as large as possible.
8-16-91
The sound driver is used for the MacSE once again.
8-16-91
"Accelerator Preferences" files created under version 4.6 are not compatible with version 4.7.
