  1. Some older SCSI hardware has limitations that newer hardware does not.
  2. We have provided older versions of our drivers for devices that do not
  3. work correctly with newer drivers because of these hardware limitations.

  5. To use one of the older drivers, copy the file to your SCSI directory
  6. and rename it as appropriate.  For example, if you want to use CD-ROM
  7. driver NECCDR.140, rename it to NECCDR.SYS.

  10. NEC CDR-35
  11.     CDR-77
  12.     CDR-80
  13.                 Use NECCDR.140 or earlier.  These drives are unable to
  14.                 deal with the code in later drivers added for PhotoCD
  15.                 compatibility.
