This US Navy and Marine Corps primary high-technology all-weather heavy attack aircraft first entered service in 1963. In the Grumman tradition it is extremely rugged, and carries two crewmen in a side-by-side arrangement plus a large weapons load. The 'A' model saw extensive service in Vietnam.
