<li>On the <emph>Taxes</emph> menu, click <emph>Tax Estimator</emph>.</li>
<li>Click the box with the amount you want to change, and type the new amount.</li>
<li>To change an amount back to Money's estimate, click the amount box, and then click the <emph>Use Money's amount</emph> check box.</li>

<p variant="impt">If you override amounts in the Tax Estimator worksheet, Money uses the amount you entered rather than the amount Money calculates based on your transactions. If your projections change, you need to change the amount. If you use Money's amount, Money updates the projected amount as you add transactions to your file.</p>

<p>You can review the transactions that Money uses to determine the estimate for each area of the Tax Estimator and make corrections to those transactions or add missing categories or transactions. Money can then update the projected amount as you add transactions to your file. To see the transactions included in a projected amount, click the underlined heading for the amount.</p>
