<p>If you chose the wrong <glossary>lot</glossary> when you sold or transferred stock shares, you can go back and correct the lot allocation.</p>

<li>On the <emph>Investing</emph> menu, click <emph>Portfolio</emph>.</li>
<li>Click the investment account that holds the lot you want to change.</li>
<li>Right-click the transaction with the incorrectly assigned lot, and then click <emph>Reallocate Lots</emph>.</li>
<li>If Money asks you whether you want to specify the shares to sell, click <emph>Let me specify which shares I want to sell or transfer</emph>, and then click <emph>Next</emph>.</li>
<li>Click <emph>Clear All</emph>.</li>
<li>To have Money select the lots by outcome, click <emph>Maximum Gain</emph>, <emph>Minimum Gain</emph>, or <emph>First Acquired</emph>. To choose the amount from each lot yourself, click the lot, and then type the number of shares in the <emph>Enter shares to allocate from lot above</emph> box. To select all the shares in a lot, up to the remaining needed for this sale or transfer, click <emph>All</emph>.</li>
<li>Click <emph>Finish</emph>.</li>
