<p>Forecasting your cash flow can help you plan ahead to avoid being short of cash in your day-to-day accounts in the near future.</p>

<li>On the <emph>Accounts & Bills</emph> menu, click <emph>Cash Flow Review</emph>.</li>
<li>In the <emph>Account</emph> box, click the account for which you want to review your cash flow.</li>
<p>To include all your checking, savings, and credit card accounts, click <emph>All Day-to-day Accounts</emph>.</p>
<p>To choose which accounts you want to include, click <emph>Multiple Accounts</emph> and follow the instructions on your screen.</p>
<li>In the <emph>Time Period</emph> box, click the time period for which you want to review your cash flow.</li>
</ol>
<p>Money updates the Cash Flow Forecast chart to reflect your new selections.</p>

<p>By default, the forecast is based on:</p>
<ul>
<li>Each account's current balance.</li>
<li>Recurring transactions you've scheduled in Money.</li>
<li>Post-dated transactions in the account register.</li>
<li>Budget data if you have set up a budget, or data calculated from trends if you have not.</li>
<li>Transactions in both necessary and discretionary categories.</li>

<p>Yes, you can customize the cash flow forecast to suit your needs. </p>

<li>In the left pane, click <emph>Customize cash flow</emph>.</li>
<li>Choose the transaction types you want to include and how you want your cash flow to be displayed, and then click <emph>Done</emph>.</li>
