<li>On the <emph>Accounts & Bills</emph> menu, click <emph>Account List</emph>.</li>
<li>Click the name of the account.</li>
<li>Click <emph>New</emph>, and then enter information for the transaction.</li>
<li>In the <emph>Amount</emph> box, enter the amount of foreign currency you spent or received.</li>
<p>For example, if you reside in the U.S. but made a purchase in Canada, enter the amount you spent in Canadian dollars.</p>
<li>Right-click the <emph>Amount</emph> box, and then click <emph>Currency Converter</emph>.</li>
<li>In the <emph>Transaction currency</emph> box, select the currency you're converting from.</li>
<li>Under <emph>Display exchange rate as</emph>, select the exchange option you want:</li>

<li>Select the first option if the exchange rate you'll enter is local currency units per each foreign currency unit.</li>
<li>Select the second option if the exchange rate you'll enter is foreign currency units per each local currency unit.</li>

<p>For example, if the exchange rate you'll enter is $0.8425, and you know that in the U.S. $0.8425 is equal to $1.00 in Canada, the first option is correct: 0.8425 local units for each foreign unit.</p>
<li>In the <emph>Exchange rate</emph> box, enter the exchange rate at the time you made the purchase or exchanged cash at the bank.</li>
<li>Click <emph>OK</emph>.</li>
