Before you start the Microsoft Money Euro Converter, make sure that your bank has converted your accounts to euros, and that you now receive your bank statements in euros. If your accounts and statements have not yet been converted, you need to wait until they are in euros.

Before Money converts your file, it saves a backup copy of the unconverted file with the extension .MNE. If you have any trouble converting, you will be able to continue using the backup copy until you can successfully convert.

If you have more than one Money file, you will need to run the Euro Converter for each one. Because the Converter converts the last Money file opened, all you need to do to convert a different file is to open that file in Money, quit Money again, and follow the steps above. You can run the Euro Converter on as many files as you need.
