<p>There are times when you want information included in a transaction that wouldn't be appropriate printed on a check. For example, if you're writing a check to a brokerage firm called Stockpile Brokerage to buy some Widget stock, you wouldn't want Widget stock listed on the Payee line of your checks, but you would want it in your Money file so you can identify it later.</p>
<p>To record information in a transaction that you don't want printed on checks, type the information in curly brackets {}. For example, to prevent Widget stock from being printed on checks, type Stockpile Brokerage {Widget stock}.</p>
